POVO DE DEUS, VERSUS SOCIEDADE DOS GRANDES IMPÉRIOS

Abstract

Resumo

A formação do Povo de Deus passa pela vivencia de uma fé com implicações de vida social que contrapõem com propostas de outros povos que estavam governando-o. Ao longo da história, de Moisés até Jesus, quiça até nossos dias, é possível perceber a existência de dois projetos: o desses governantes e o dos descendentes de Abraão, que sempre foram constituídos como pequenos. Como estes conseguiram resistir por séculos de diversos tipos de opressão, alimentando este Projeto/Sonho? A sua história e estratégias utilizadas são temáticas deste artigo.

Abstrat

The formation of the People of God passes through the experience of a faith with implications of social life that contrast with proposals from other peoples who were ruling it. Throughout history, from Moses to Jesus, until nowadays, it is possible to perceive the existence of two projects: those of the rulers and those of the descendants of Abraham, who have always been constituted as small. How have they been able to resist for centuries of various types of oppression, fueling this Project / Dream? Its history and strategies are thematic of this article.
