Abstract

This article aims to discuss epistemological aspects involved in the analysis of a "mystique of the other", evidencing how cultural and religious alterities may appear inserted in the core of interest of the science of religion from a decolonial and intercultural perspective. Thus, a bibliographic dimensioning was carried out, articulating theoretical contributions of several authors.
