In this sense, the purpose of this article is to unveil, from the cited text, aspects of the city's imaginary about local events and important events such as the First World War and the Spanish flu epidemic. In addition, the text aims to identify aspects related to important transformations experienced by the city and its population in the period between 1910 and 1923.
