Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of neopentecostalism in the quilombola community of Pratigi - BA and its relations between "small and big politics", discussing how this aspect of Christianity is being inserted in these communities. The writing was done from an ethnographic research carried out in 2019 by Barros (2020), for the writing of the master's thesis. It becomes evident, here in this article, that the insertion of neo-Pentecostalism in peripheral and traditional communities is usually accompanied by “big politics”.
