Abstract

This article aims to analyze participant research, based on the ideas of Carlos Brandão and Paulo Freire, in the context of the research presented to the Professional Master's Degree in Youth and Adult Education (MPEJA), of the State University of Bahia (UNEB), with a methodological approach involving a bibliographic review and intervention, of a qualitative nature and analysis of the interviewees' speech, based on the arguments of Brandão (2021), Freire (1981; 2022), as well as Pereira (2019), who consider the voices of participants in a round table discussion to be of significant importance in elucidating the problem being researched, since the speech of those involved can contribute to the development of diagnoses and solutions that are close to the concrete reality that motivated the research.
