AS NARRATIVAS DO POVO INDÍGENA XAKRIABÁ SOBRE O ENCANTADO ONÇA CABOCLA IAIÁ

Neste artigo pretendo exibir as narrativas do povo indígena Xakriabá relacionadas ao encantado Onça Cabocla Iaiá, bem como tecer breves apontamentos que permitam reflexões sobre esse encantado no cotidiano dos Xakriabá, povo indígena que possui uma população aproximada de 11000 indígenas e habita a microrregião do Vale do Peruaçu (Alto Médio São Francisco), na margem esquerda do rio, entre os biomas da caatinga e do cerrado. Neste artigo foram inseridas diversas transcrições das narrativas dos próprios Xakriabá, para que o leitor possa, ele mesmo, tomar contato com algumas delas.

Abstract

In this article I  intend to show the narratives of the indigenous people Xakriabá related to Onça Cabocla Iaiá, as well as narrate brief notes that allow reflections on this Onça Cabocla in the daily life of the Xakriabá, indigenous people with an approximated populacion of 11.000 individuals and live in the micro region of the Peruaçu Valley (Alto Médio São Francisco) on the left bank of the river,  between the biomes of caatinga and cerrado. In this article were inserted several transcriptions of the own  Xakriabá, so the reader can himself contact some of them.
