APRESENTAÇÃO DO RITUAL DE INICIAÇÃO NA IGREJA CATÓLICA

Abstract

The present work includes the study of the rites in religious traditions, especially Catholicism. The rites since the early days were and are an integral part of religious events. They carry with them cultural and social elements that allow the man to relate to the deity. One of the common rites of religions is the initiation. For the Catholic Church the Christian initiation ritual is permeated with symbolism that takes one you want to be started to experience a personal experience with Jesus. Note that the Christian initiation of adults in the Catholic Church to misread-over time because of the eruption of catechesis to the liturgical action. Through literature, this paper presents to all who are interested a better understanding of the initiation rite in the Catholic Church.
