O amor e o cuidado como paradigmas para uma educação ética

Este trabalho de pesquisa visa analisar e refletir sobre os conceitos de amor e cuidado em Agostinho e Heidegger, respectivamente, relacionando-os às necessidades e possibilidades de uma revigorada educação ética em nossos dias. Utilizando de alguns de seus comentadores, mas sobretudo das principais obras de cada um destes filósofos, investigamos as possíveis correlações entre seus conceitos tendo em vista uma educação transformadora. Ao criar uma aproximação entre o principal filósofo da patrística e um dos pensadores mais influente do século XX, analisamos suas contribuições a um revigorado manancial de princípios para a contemporaneidade, que seja capaz de atender as necessidades de superação das múltiplas crises de nosso tempo, em especial aquela tocante à educação e a ética.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing and reflecting on the concepts of love and care in Augustine and Heidegger, respectively, relating them to the needs and possibilities of a reinvigorated ethical education in our day. Using some of his commentators, but especially the main works of each one of these philosophers, we investigate the possible correlations between his concepts for a transformative education. In creating an approximation between the leading philosopher of patristics and one of the most influential thinkers of the twentieth century, we analyze his contributions to a reinvigorated set of principles for contemporaneity that is capable of meeting the needs of overcoming the multiple crises of our time, in especially education and ethic
